Our packages contain everything that you will need including instructions, diagrams and customer support on how to resurface your tennis or basketball court yourself to make your venture a smooth and happy one.
Remember always send us photos of your court so we can help you determine the package that will best suit your needs.

Packages for resurfacing the court(s) are:

Package 1 – Court that is in good condition

Includes:
a. 10 – 5 gallon pails of ready mix acrylic resurfacer (1 – coat)
b. 16 – 5 gallon pails of ready mix color (2 – coats)
c 8 – rolls of 3m masking tape
d. 2 – 5 gallon pails of court patch binder
e. 1 – squeegee paint applicator
f. 1 – Line tape applicator (this is provided on a rental basis and costs $70/week)
g. 1- scraper
h. 1- power hand blower
i. 1 – mixing drill
j. 1 – mixing blade

Package 2 – Court that is in fair condition: Rough surface, several cracks, several depression (note: more court patch may be required if your depressions are very deep)

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1. pressure clean and power blow court(s) as necessary to remove loose dirt, mildew and oil..

Step 2.patch depressions greater than 1/8” after 1 hour drying time in sunlight, grind down any ridges as necessary and fill existing cracks as best as possible prior to surfacing.

Step 3. Apply(1) Coat of Acrylic Resurfacer over entire court area to fill voids and provide smooth surface. The acrylic resurfacer is applied using a rubber bladded squeegie. It is important to make sure that you keep the squeegie edge wet to ensure that material flows smoothly.

Step 4. Apply(2) Coats of Color Concentrate (two-tone) to provide in depth color over court surface. Note: the two tone is a popular combination but 1 color can be used. It is easier to install the paint using 2 people

Step 5.Stripe (paint) lines to regulation size.
Painting can be a very time consuming experience. 3M Masking tape is highly recommended. Use our tape machine to help install the lines. Also download the diagrams from sportsurfaces.com site in order to lay out the lines properly. You will need a chalk line and two people in order to achieve straight lines.
