Basketball Court Construction and Repair
Whether you want a basketball court for your backyard or you are in charge of the outdoor basketball court at a neighborhood park, you will need someone for basketball court construction or basketball court repair. At Sport Surfaces, we specializes in every type of court and sport surface you could need, which makes us the experts when it comes to installing a new basketball court or making repairs to an existing court. We can create both indoor and outdoor basketball court surfaces in any color and any size you need, including regulation full size and half size.
Full-Size Basketball Court
If you have the room, a full-size basketball court can be a great option for your family or for the local park or other location. With our full-court installation, we will provide you with a solid base of rock, followed by the application of the basketball court flooring asphalt that provides the hard surface on which you will play. Our professionals will even flood the court to ensure there are no low spots to negatively impact your game. Once the asphalt is in place and level, we will coat the surface with our acrylic resurfacing product to create the beautiful court you desire.
Half-Court Basketball Court
Not everyone has the room or the accessibility for a full-size court. When you are limited on space, a concrete basketball court surface can be a better option for you. Once the ground is leveled and properly measured, we will place a plastic vapor barrier to protect your court, followed by the concrete. We will allow the concrete to fully cure for 30 days and then flood it to find any low spots so we can repair them. Once the floor is level, we will coat it with our resurfacing product so your court is ready for hours of fun.

Basketball Asphalt Concrete
An asphalt basketball court is one of the most typical surfaces and also most recomended surface for a basketball court. There are several advantages to an asphalt basketball court as opposed to a concrete surface. Firstly the asphalt is a bit softer which will provide protection to your joints and soft tissue. Next all paints stick better to asphalt versus concrete so the surface tends to last a bit longer. The next advantage is that asphalt actually costs a little less to build than concrete.
Sport Surfaces can provide quality basketball court construction and resurfacing within the State of Florida and the Caribbean. With the wide variety of basketball surfaces available, you will need to choose the flooring which best suits your needs. Outdoor, all-weather basketball courts utilize asphalt which is coated with an acrylic surfacing system. Designed to withstand the elements and demanding play these systems will perform well for many years with minimal maintenance needed. |
